In general, the overhead bridge crane detection is common in the crane manufacturing process, used to control the processing, welding quality. Because during the overhead brideg crane welding, by the limitations of the welding process and field equipment, will make the welding quality a certain deviation. The welding welds will have certain extent pores, slag and crack problems. These defects will affect the rigidity of the ovrhead bridge crane's metal structure, toughness, etc., reducing the crane's performance.
 
In order to reduce, eliminate castings, parts and welding defects to increase overhead bridge crane safety performance, non-destructive testing methods can be used to defect detection, positioning, quantification, so as to improve the crane safety.
