After the installation or using for a period of time, the overhead traveling crane need to clean, remove the dirt on the surface of parts, coated with rust paint. Before cleaning, should prepare cleaning tools, materials, wooden racks, also need equip with compressed air, electric, water, lighting, fire protection and so on at the cleaning site. Overhead traveling crane different parts should be used the corresponding cleaning method to ensure the cleaning effect, avoid parts being damaged in the cleaning process.
Cleaning steps include a rough wash, fine wash, fine cleaning. First, rough wash should remove the old oil , rust, dirt, etc . on the overhead traveling crane, after rough wash is completed, followed by fine wash, when necessary, should clean with heated oil grease; fine cleaning, clean with compressed air. After cleaning, coated the appropriate parts with paint, grease and other to prevent from rust.
