Why overhead eot crane technical inspection

Overhead eot crane is a kind of construction machinery used for lifting, loading and unloading and transportation. It is widely used in workshops, factories, material fields and coal mills, which can greatly reduce labor intensity and improve work efficiency. However, the Overhead eot crane load-bearing structure is relatively complex, if appear safety accident occurs, it will bring serious consequences. Therefore, to ensure the Overhead eot crane performance meets the safe operation requirements, it must be technically tested.
 
Overhead eot crane new equipment installation, overhaul or some important performance changes, all need technical inspection. Common technical inspection include no-load test, static load test, dynamic load test.
 
1. No-load test. In the case of no-load, start the Overhead eot crane lifting and traveling mechanism, forward rotation, reverse operation, check the limit switch is reliable and accurate, check the operating mechanism is working properly.
 
2. Static load test. Overhead eot crane lift 1.25 times heavy objects of rated load and lift up to the height about 100mm from ground to keep for 10min, check there is no exception on the main beam.
 
3. Dynamic load test. Lifting 1.1 times weight of rated load, up, dangling, decline, stop and repeat tests, check whether the Overhead eot crane operating mechanism and safety devices have problems or not.
 
Through technical inspection, can scientifically judge the Overhead eot crane performance, determine whether it meets the use standard. If there are problems, timely detection and correction can make sure the performance.
