Overhead crane is hung above the shop, warehouse and open yard, used for lifting a variety of objects, can also be called bridge crane.
It is the most widely used lifting equipment in mechanical industry, metallurgical and chemical industries. In modern industrial enterprises, it is the main machine for production process of mechanization and automation. When using the overhead cranes, should notice the following safety precautions:
1. Operation must be in normal driving conditions, especially safety equipment, such as braking device, sound and light signals, interlocking devices.
2. If lifting objects is tied tight, should be stop and re-tied. Before starting, give a signal of bell; Mustn't hang objects from a person's head; when running, do not do the repairment, inspection, refueling and wipe, must stop immediately if find problems.
3. When stops, the crane should stop in a parking line, the hook should be raised to the right position, can not hang heavy materials. All controller should be at the zero position, power off and lock the cab door.
